Dart Cottage overlooks a lovely green, where you see people walking their dogs or just enjoying the space.
Coddington has an interesting history, details of which we will leave for you to read in your room on arrival, along with information about other local attractions you may wish to visit in this area.
The Inn on The Green in the village has great food and offers a discount to people who are visiting Dart Cottage. The Plough, another pub in the village, does food at the weekends. There are many lovely eating places not too far away and around our district.
Only a short walk away is the bus stop - the bus goes into Newark approx every half an hour.
We have a great little Post Office and store, which is well stocked. Opening times:- Mon - Fri 6.30am to 18.00pm
Saturday 6.30 am to 14.00pm
Sunday 6.30am to 12.00
Dry Cleaning- is also done via the PO/Store as they are agents for Balderton Dry Cleaners
Breakfast time:- We do a cooked breakfast or a continental - local people supply our ingredients. This can be done at a time that suits, also most dietary requirements can be accommodated (please state at time of booking).
Your room has lovely fresh soft warm towels, soaps etc. you have a hairdryer in your room, plus tea coffee and biscuits, TV and radio.
Parking:- You are more than welcome to park at the side of Dart Cottage with our car.
All Saints Church is in Coddington and other places of worship within the district - please ask should your require more details.
The market town of Newark, which is less than 2 miles away has a beautiful market place and there are markets on Mon/Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat. More details are in your room plus other useful numbers.
